Working in Edinburgh’s New Town, I’m inspired by the surrounding Georgian Architecture. I use a distinctive and unique combination of materials including collage, paint, print making, drawing and hot wax, to reconstruct distinctively ‘Edinburgh’ architectural features. A collector of old maps and books, wherever possible, I construct my collages with relevant texts and images, creating unique ‘building portraits’, which tell a literary as well as visual story.
